In Philippians 4 Paul seeks to reconcile two important ladies within the church—Euodia and Syntyche. Reconciliation can especially take place in our lives if we heed the exhortations Paul gives to all the Philippians immediately after addressing these ladies. He calls for them to be reminded that their names are ‘”in the book of life” (v. 3), to  “rejoice always” (v. 4), to “let their forbearance be known to all” (v. 5), to come to the Lord “in everything” with thanksgiving and supplications (v. 6), and to meditate on what “pure, true, lovely, and virtuous” (v. 8). As we do these things we can’t help but walk in love, humility and unity!
